San Diego, Wednesday, July 20, 2016 – Saturday, July 23, 2016, Spreckels Theatre — ConanCon has become one of my favorite parts of San Diego Comic-Con, and this year felt especially unforgettable because we got great seats and we were right there in the middle of the action. Watching Conan walk down the aisle as The Flaming C was already surreal, but it got even better when I realized I actually made it on TV as he passed right by us. That quick moment instantly became one of my favorite SDCC memories!
I also ended up on camera again thanks to where I was sitting. I was one row behind Darth Vader, who was part of the skit Captain Make America Great Again Returns. Between the audience shots, the sketches, and the nonstop energy in the theater, it felt like the crowd was just as much a part of the show as Conan himself. ConanCon 2016 was loud, ridiculous, and completely perfect, and being part of it made the experience even more special.

That year, we managed to attend two days of Conan shows, which felt like a win on its own. I hope that one day we can pull off attending all four days of Conan shows at SDCC.

Thanks to the amazing Conan t-shirts my SIL made, Team Coco gifted her an autographed Conan Superman Funko Pop. She passed it along to me, knowing my obsession with all things Conan. Woot!
