Another big thanks to @thegeekyhooker for staying on top of the ticket drop and coordinating all of us to get tickets! We missed out on the free ones, but paying the $2 charity fee for my ticket was no big deal.
Brawl Stars Takes Over SDCC 2025: Welcome to Starr Park
San Diego Comic-Con 2025 brought a lot of incredible activations, but one of the most immersive and fun experiences had to be Brawl Stars: Welcome to Starr Park. Supercell turned the world of the popular mobile game into a real-life amusement park, and it was impressive.
Stepping Into Starr Park
The activation was located at 5th Avenue Landing, right on San Diego Bay, just behind the Convention Center. From the moment you arrived, it felt like stepping into the vibrant, chaotic universe of Brawl Stars. The venue was packed with colorful décor, larger-than-life character cutouts, and playful nods to the game at every corner.
Guests first boarded the Starr Rail, a monorail-style ride that started off calm but quickly turned chaotic, perfectly mirroring the high-energy vibe of the game. From there, visitors had about 45 minutes to explore Starr Park and take part in a series of carnival-style games, all reimagined with a Brawl Stars twist.

Games, Prizes, and Chaos
The games were creative and fun.
- Mike’s Mine tested your skills with explosive challenges
- Haunted Haven had strength and agility activities
- Piper’s Pie Shop served up treats and playful surprises
- Frontier World Round-Up brought classic carnival games to life in Brawl Stars style
As you played, you collected stickers from each activity. Collect a certain number of stickers, and you could redeem them for exclusive prizes. I was just one sticker away from getting a prize, but Viet in our group managed to collect enough to redeem some crazy-looking slippers. They were unfortunately too small for him. By Saturday afternoon (our timeslot was 3:20 pm), most sizes had already run out.
Beloved Brawl Stars characters, including Spike, made appearances, adding to the excitement.
Extras Beyond the Park
Starr Park was not limited to the activation space. A street team roamed downtown SDCC, handing out trivia, fun dares, and prizes. The team also partnered with MrBeast’s Feastables, giving out over 20,000 co-branded chocolate bars, many of which included redeemable in-game codes. Even the little touches, like themed drinks and playful interactions around the venue, made it feel like the Brawl Stars world had truly come to life.
Tickets and Access
Tickets were reserved online well in advance, with limited timed slots available to ensure a smooth experience. There was no on-site registration, but a standby line allowed a few extra visitors to join if space permitted.
The Verdict
If you are a fan of Brawl Stars or just love immersive, interactive activations, Welcome to Starr Park was a standout at SDCC 2025. It was fun, chaotic, and packed with surprises, exclusive swag, and the kind of energy that only a Supercell experience can deliver. Walking around, playing games, and seeing the world of Brawl Stars come alive was an absolute blast and one of the highlights of the convention.
