85C Bakery Cafe opened their 1000th store in Houston, and I was lucky to attend the grand opening.  The “Starbucks of Taiwan” celebrated their opening with giveaways of a giant plush version of their famous Brioche bread, reusable tote bags, and mugs. They pride themselves on quality breads, pastries and coffee at inexpensive prices. I personally loved their Hokkaido Cheese tart, Marble Taro, and Squid Ink Corn Chicken. Check them out in Chinatown, you can’t miss the crazy huge line!
