Alien: Earth

Alien: Earth officially premiered today on FX and Hulu, with the first two episodes released together. From the very start, it feels like an exciting new chapter for the Alien franchise. The show takes its time introducing a future Earth ruled by powerful corporations and advanced experiments involving alien life and synthetic consciousness, letting tension build slowly rather than jumping straight into chaos.

The tone feels very Alien… quiet, uneasy, and just unsettling enough to keep you on edge. Visually, the world looks grounded and lived-in, and the pacing allows the atmosphere to really sink in. Sydney Chandler makes a strong first impression in the lead role, giving the episode a grounded center as the story begins to unfold.

The direction of Alien: Earth feels deliberate and confident. The series feels like it is setting the stage for something bigger without revealing too much too soon. Having experienced the Alien: Earth offsite event at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, it is exciting to finally see this world come to life on screen and connect those early teases with the series’ official debut.
