To celebrate National Cookie Day, DoubleTree by Hilton is offering their guests and the public their signature, warm DoubleTree Cookies for free at every U.S. location on December 4!

 

 

As the holiday travel season kicks off, DoubleTree by Hilton—the hotel brand best known for its warm Cookie welcome—set out to find what makes travelers feel welcomed and what cities are the most inviting. As a Houston local, I am delighted to see that among six popular travel destinations, the survey found Houston to be one of the two most welcoming U.S. cities, alongside Denver.*

 

 

If you’ve ever stayed at a DoubleTree by Hilton, you know how good their Cookies are! They’re what I look forward to the most with each stay. Biting into a DoubleTree Cookie brings back wonderful memories from my childhood. Every Christmas I’d bake chocolate chip cookies with my mom for our big family gathering. Our family Christmas dinners were a combination of Chinese and American cuisines. The staples were always ham, mashed potatoes, sticky rice, and dumplings. And for dessert we could always count on sweet red bean soup, pumpkin and pecan pies, and our chocolate chip cookies. If you wanted a cookie, you’d have to reach for that first because they were always gone in an instant. They were definitely my favorite part of Christmas!

*DoubleTree by Hilton commissioned a 10-minute, online survey among 2,200 U.S. adults ages 18+ who have traveled for personal/leisure purposes, including a nationally-representative sample of 1,000 who took two or more trips in the past 12 months, and a sample of 1,200 who traveled to Houston, Denver, New York City, Chicago, Atlanta, or Los Angeles in the last two years (200 respondents per city). The margin of error is +/- 3.1% for the national data and +/- 6.93% for the city data, with both samples at the 95% confidence level.
