I will if you will…
I’ve been to Moxie’s Grill & Bar four times, and this is the first time I remembered to take a photo by this IG worthy wall. My mind is always focused on getting a great food shot that I forget I want a photo of myself, too. When you walk into the restaurant, the hostess will be to your right. Turn to your left, and you’ll see this wall.
The one thing about Moxie’s that stands out to me (besides their extremely attractive employees) is their outstanding service. Every time I’ve been there, they go above and beyond in making me feel welcomed and valued.
The restaurant is very hip and trendy. The environment is a lot of fun, and people go there to be seen. So wear something fancy, and have a good time. Just try not to ogle at the hostesses too hard.
Now on to the food. Here’s what we ordered:
Appetizers: We started off with the Sushi Cones, Tuna Poke in a Jar, Poutine, Crispy Dry Rib Tips and a Caesar Salad.
For our mains, Paul got the Prime Rib Eye with garlic butter shrimp and an east coast lobster tail. I got the Butcher’s Cut Steak Sandwich.
Finally, we finished dinner off with the Salted Caramel & Pecan Cheesecake for dessert. Their dessert menu is simple with only three options: Salted Caramel & Pecan Cheesecake, White Chocolate Brownie, or Sticky Toffee Pudding. I’ve had two of the three– White Chocolate Brownie once, Sticky Toffee Pudding twice. The Sticky Toffee Pudding is amazing, so get that if you haven’t tried it before.
Here’s a photo of the Sticky Toffee Pudding from a previous visit. It’s so good I had to post it.
And here I am with our table full of food, pretending to eat it all.
Proof:
I couldn’t finish all the fries (there was a lot of them), so I took that home. We also had some leftover Crispy Dry Rib Tips and got those boxed up. Everything else that we knew wouldn’t be great reheated, we ate. I might be petite, but I can eat.
Thank you, Moxie’s, for a wonderful dinner!
